The Education Directorate of ELTE will once again host the Excellence in Higher Education Conference on higher education methodology on February 4, 2027, during the 2026/27 academic year, where the university’s faculty and students will have the opportunity to present: How do we learn and teach in an ever-changing world?

This year, ELTE’s internal professional conference will explore issues of redesign: from the impact of artificial intelligence to the transformation of learning spaces and the challenges of a sustainable university, all the way to the development of future-oriented competencies. Together, we will reflect on what student-centered education means today, how we can learn from our experiences with the LMS transition, and how we can strike a balance between the needs of academia, students, and the labor market. This year’s conference will once again provide an opportunity to present the results of projects and developments taking place at the university, so we welcome applications from speakers. We warmly invite everyone who is curious about the future of higher education and eager to share their experiences with the community.
